Softworks Opens Second Building to Complement Bray Headquarters and Support Global Growth

Bray-based Workforce Management and Rostering Technology company Softworks has officially opened its expanded offices this Friday, marking a significant milestone in the company’s continued growth across Ireland and international markets.

The official opening was marked by a ribbon-cutting ceremony attended by Tánaiste Simon Harris alongside customers and the Softworks team.

Softworks employs 115 people globally and has nearly doubled its workforce over the past three years. The company provides rostering, time and attendance, HR and workforce optimisation software to organisations operating in highly regulated and complex environments. It is now focused on further expansion across Ireland, the UK, Italy, the United States and Canada, with its Bray headquarters serving as the central hub for product development, management and international operations.

The company’s technology is designed to automate rostering, time and attendance processes, helping organisations manage staffing levels, compliance requirements, training certification, annual leave and payroll integration.

Softworks works with major national and international organisations across healthcare, public sector, manufacturing and retail. In Ireland, the company partners with a broad range of government departments and leading healthcare providers. Recent projects with national public-sector organisations reflect continued demand for their rostering and workforce management technology in complex, highly regulated environments.

Andrew Ferguson, CEO of Softworks, said the expansion reflects the company’s strong performance, its continued significant investment in research and development and its long-term commitment to Ireland:

“This new office represents an important milestone for Softworks. While we continue to scale internationally, Ireland remains at the heart of our business. Our investment in people, research and development and product innovation ensures we can continue to support organisations both at home and abroad.”

Tánaiste Simon Harris commented:

“Softworks is exactly the kind of Irish success story I love telling, built in Bray, growing globally, but keeping their home right here. I want to congratulate Andrew Ferguson, the leadership team and everyone of the 115 staff for what they’ve built. Nearly doubling your workforce in three years is a vote of confidence in Bray and in Wicklow as a location for ambitious, high-growth tech companies. Enterprise Ireland’s sustained support has helped Softworks build an international footprint. This is what a strategic partnership between enterprise and the state looks like. I look forward to coming back!”

Donnchadh Cullinan, Head of Enterprise Solutions at Enterprise Ireland said:

“Softworks is an excellent example of an innovative Irish technology company scaling globally while continuing to anchor its core operations here in Ireland. Their continued investment in R&D, their expansion into key international markets, and their commitment to developing world‑class workforce management solutions reflect the strength and ambition of Ireland’s HR and Talent Tech sector. Enterprise Ireland welcomes the company’s ongoing growth and looks forward to seeing Softworks continue to deliver high‑value jobs and cutting‑edge technology from their base in Bray.”

Softworks has invested significantly in research and development in areas such as AI-driven automation, automated scheduling and healthcare compliance. The company aims to double in size again over the next three years, further strengthening its position as one of Ireland’s leading providers of Workforce Management Technology.
