Minister of State for Trade Promotion, Digital and Company Regulation Dara Calleary TD, today launched Enterprise Ireland’s new client advisory panels.
The advisory panels will bring together entrepreneurs and senior business leaders to advise on Enterprise Ireland strategy and service delivery.
The advisory panels will cover four key themes – Scaling, Entrepreneurship, Sustainability & ESG and Local Enterprise.
“Listening to the views of Irish enterprise and incorporating that vital feedback into both strategy and service delivery is important, especially for organisations like Enterprise Ireland. I warmly welcome the establishment of the formal advisory structure that we are launching this morning. This initiative will ensure that senior leadership in Enterprise Ireland know the impact of emerging issues in the enterprise sector and, importantly, can scope out practical responses for the challenges and opportunities that emerge within a rapidly evolving global trading environment. I also want to sincerely thank the business leaders and entrepreneurs who will give their time, knowledge and insight over the coming months.”
Chair of Enterprise Ireland, Michael Carey said, “Enterprise Ireland exists to provide the best possible service to its client base and to anticipate the supports that Irish business will need into the future. It is vital that we listen to our client base to understand the issues that impact them today, and how Enterprise Ireland can help with future challenges. That is the purpose of these advisory panels.
“I am delighted that the leading entrepreneurs and senior business figures represent key sectors of the economy and represent all regions. In designing the advisory panels we were very conscious of gender balance and I am glad to say that women entrepreneurs and business leaders make up 50% of the advisory panel membership.”
