Cora Systems opens Dublin office to Support Hyper Growth

Cora Systems, a leading provider of enterprise portfolio, program and project management (PPM) solutions, today announced the opening of a Dublin office to support its continued growth.

In May of last year, Cora Systems, the Carrick-on-Shannon based Irish software company announced the creation of over 300 new jobs by the end of 2024. The company is on track to fill 100 of those jobs by year-end 2023 with additional open roles in Product, Engineering, Professional Services, Sales, and Marketing.

To support their growth, the company has opened a new Dublin office in the heart of the docklands on City Quay in addition to their Carrick-on-Shannon headquarters and regional offices in Bedford, UK and Atlanta, USA.

Cora Systems’ hyper-growth has been driven by their successful expansion into the US market securing a number of Fortune 100 global enterprises across the Manufacturing, Aerospace & Defense, Healthcare and Life Sciences industries. Ongoing structural changes to global supply chains, labour shortages and inflation have resulted in significant challenges for large enterprises, leading to losses of hundreds of millions of dollars in these organisations. Cora streamlines and centralizes all the data required to help their clients deliver their projects on time and on budget, thanks to seamless integration of schedules, forecasting, resources, financial controls, and ultimately protecting the bottom line.

Cora Systems prides itself on the return on investment (ROI) it helps to deliver to its clients. An example of this is their client, Honeywell, who within eight months of implementing Cora’s award-winning product, Cora PPM, were able to reduce cost overruns by $200 million and add $250 million in change order revenue.

Opening Cora Systems new Dublin office Minister of State for Business, Employment and Retail Neale Richmond TD said, “Over the past number of years, Ireland has become a global digital technology hub – and pioneering Irish innovators like Cora Systems have played a pivotal and transformative role in the sector. Global leaders are increasingly turning to Irish-owned enterprises for solutions, as their innovative offerings, talent, and cutting-edge services are trusted around the world.

As a result, we have seen the development of innovative, talented, and disruptive Irish-owned digital technology companies and Cora Systems exemplifies this. Today’s opening is a great boost not just for Dublin but also for the North-West region where their HQ is based, connecting both to the global stage. The expansion paves the way for Cora Systems to grow its highly innovative business and to significantly scale its activities. I wish Philip and team all the best for what is sure to be a very exciting future.”

Founder and CEO, Philip Martin, said: “Cora’s sense of place will always reside in Carrick-on-Shannon however our Dublin office will act as a fantastic addition to support our growth ambitions.”

In the last 12 months alone, Cora Systems has more than doubled its revenue and has recently been announced as a finalist in The Deloitte Technology Fast 50, which ranks the 50 fastest-growing technology companies based on revenue growth over the last four years. The program provides Irish tech companies with a benchmark to measure their success which is critical as they scale".

Leo Clancy, CEO, Enterprise Ireland said, “Enterprise Ireland welcomes this expansion by Cora Systems. The phenomenal growth of the company over the last three years has been driven by its investment in Research and Development. The new office based in the heart of Dublin’s Digital Docklands will further strengthen Cora Systems position as a globally connected PPM software innovator and leader in its field, providing high quality jobs and supporting innovation. We look forward to working with Philip and his expanded team in the future to support Cora Systems ambitious plans to compete and win in global markets.”
