Ireland has committed to implementing green public procurement (GPP), a process whereby public authorities procure goods, services or works with a reduced environmental impact. From January 2025, all tenders for goods and services over €50,000 (and €200,000 for works) must include sustainable and environment technical specifications and selection and award criteria. Companies need to be aware of the new GPP rules in order to win contracts in the public sector.
This webinar will provide insights into the new GPP requirements, GPP sector guidance, Life Cycle Costing and what businesses must do to address the environmental impacts of their tender submissions.
