Speaker: Climate Matters
Climate change is becoming a direct and immediate business risk. Increasingly frequent flooding, heat stress, water shortages and extreme weather are already disrupting operations, supply chains and infrastructure across Europe. At the same time, investors, customers and regulators are asking companies to demonstrate how they understand and manage climate risks.
Many organisations, however, have not yet assessed how future climate conditions could affect their facilities, assets, suppliers or long-term strategy.
This webinar will explain what climate risk means for businesses today and why companies are increasingly expected to address it. It will introduce the international standards ISO 14090 and ISO 14091 for climate adaptation and risk assessment, and outline how climate risk analysis supports emerging disclosure and reporting frameworks including VSME, ESRS, CDP, EcoVadis and TCFD.
Participants will gain a clear understanding of what is expected from companies, what climate risks could mean for their business, and the practical first steps to assess risks and build climate resilience.
