Speaker: Strategic Banking Corporation of Ireland (SBCI)
Ireland has committed to the green transition. Addressing climate risks and supporting the transition to a carbon-neutral economy is a key part of the Central Bank of Ireland’s Strategy. Sustainable finance has a key role to play in delivering on the climate and sustainability objectives. Key decarbonisation solutions are generally highly capital intensive and require significant investment.
The Strategic Banking Corporation of Ireland (SBCI) was set up by the Department of Finance to ensure that SMEs in Ireland have access to stable, lower-cost and long-term funding options. SBCI support SME’s to invest in growth and resilience, and for climate action and environmental sustainability.
To develop an effective credit market for SME finance, the SBCI ensures that it is easier for SMEs to get the finance they need to prosper and build economic activity in Ireland.
This webinar will discuss supports for the green and sustainable transition for SMEs.
