The Japan External Trade Organisation (JETRO) is a Japanese governmental organisation that promotes mutually beneficial trade and investment relations between Japan and other nations. One of the main activities of JETRO London is to support British, Irish, Swedish and Finnish companies looking to invest in Japan. To this end, JETRO’s free-of-charge services include consultation with an investment advisor, basic market research and incubation office space.
Yasuyuki Ozeki has been Dublin representative of JETRO since 2006. JETRO, or the Japan External Trade Organization, is a government-related organization that works to promote mutual trade and investment between Japan and the rest of the world. Originally established in 1958 to promote Japanese exports abroad, JETRO’s core focus in the 21st century has shifted toward promoting foreign direct investment into Japan and helping small to medium size Japanese firms maximize their global export potential.
Yasuyuki started his career in one of the major heavy industry companies in Japan as sales executive for marine and power plant engines, press machine for automotive industry. Yasuyuki graduated from Osaka University of Foreign Studies' Spanish institute in 1994.
