The Japan External Trade Organisation (JETRO) is a Japanese governmental organisation that promotes mutually beneficial trade and investment relations between Japan and other nations. One of the main activities of JETRO London is to support British, Irish, Swedish and Finnish companies looking to invest in Japan. To this end, JETRO’s free-of-charge services include consultation with an investment advisor, basic market research and incubation office space.
Daisaku Yukita is Deputy Director-General of Japan External Trade organization (JETRO) London office since July 2015.
He is responsible for Invest Japan and Export from Japan activities in Europe. He was Chief Deputy Director of Invest Japan Department and Deputy Director of Invest Japan Business Support Centre of JETRO Tokyo between 2009 and 2015.
He had also worked as Director for Business Development of JETRO San Francisco office between 2004 and 2008.
He had an assignment as a Researcher of Americas Division, Trade Policy Bureau of Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry (METI) in 2001.
