Industry Led Research Networks Programme
Overview of the Industry Led Research Networks Programme
Enterprise Ireland's Industry-Led Research Networks Programme supports medium-term 'shared agenda' research activity among groups of companies that could not afford to fund such research on their own.
The model used engages a wide spectrum of companies with a common interest. This leads to success because the risks and benefits associated with large research projects are shared as are the skills and knowledge built up through working with academic researchers. Projects generally take between 9 months and 2 years to complete and the research is contracted out to a publicly-funded research institution with significant funding available from Enterprise Ireland.
Am I eligible?
Proposals will be accepted from groups of Enterprise Ireland, Údaras na Gaeltachta, Shannon Development and IDA clients who are manufacturing or internationally traded service companies.
Calls for proposals
This is an open call.
Maximum funding available
This depends on the scale of the proposal and the potential of the research project.
How do I apply?
Groups of four or more companies with a shared ambition for their industry can submit an Expression of Interest to participate in an industry-led research programme (ILRP). To request an application form, contact Martin Hussey, Enterprise Ireland.
