Joint Technology Initiatives 

Ireland makes funding available to facilitate the participation of Irish companies in projects under these JTIs. There are currently two open in the areas of Embedded Systems (ARTEMIS) and Nanoelectronics (ENIAC).

Ambient Assisted Living

The aim of this programme is to enhance the quality of life of older people and strengthen the industrial base in Europe through the use of Information and Communication Technologies (ICT).  The main activity under the AAL Joint Programme is the funding of R&D projects in the AAL domain.  Click here for more information.
