Welcoming the announcement, Minister for Jobs, Enterprise and Innovation Richard Bruton TD said: “At the heart of the Government’s Action Plan for Jobs is our determination to create a powerful engine of Irish exporting businesses. Today’s announcement that Kitman Labs is to create 24 new jobs over the next three years, as the company expands their operations into the UK market, is very welcome. Here is an Irish company which, with the support of my Department and Enterprise Ireland in particular, is developing innovative products, pursuing new markets, and creating new jobs. I commend all involved on their efforts and wish them every success for the future”.

Commenting on securing the investment, Chief Executive Officer of Kitman Labs, Iarfhlaith Kelly said “This investment provides us with the perfect opportunity to launch our athlete management system into the UK. Due to our success in the Irish market, the additional funds raised through private investors and Enterprise Ireland will allow us to continue to develop this innovative technology and create additional products for the most challenging areas of professional sport.

Iarfhlaith went onto say that “Starting immediately, we have positions in software engineering and sports science and are currently recruiting to fill these roles. As the company continues to develop, we will also be creating roles in statistics and customer relations.”
