70 Irish Companies on Show at GSMA Mobile World Congress 2012
27th February 2012: 70 of Ireland’s most innovative technology firms are taking part in the GSMA Mobile World Congress in Barcelona today. Enterprise Ireland organised an Irish exhibition stand to showcase Irish technology at the world’s largest mobile technology trade fair. Twenty five companies will be exhibiting while a further 45 are attending the congress.
Far more than a mere communication device, mobiles now serve as our books, health monitors, payment transfer devices, social connectors and tour guides. Mobile technology is embedded in our cars, homes, appliances, governments and utilities. Mobile is enhancing and expanding education and thus, transforming the world. Mobile World Congress 2012 celebrates the current state of mobile and offer a glimpse into where mobile has the potential to go next. This is the premier exhibition and networking event worldwide for mobile with over 1,400 exhibitors and circa 65,000 visitors.

Brite;bill, provides latest generation EBPP (electronic bill presentment) capabilities to Telecommunications companies to achieve the three goals of reducing cost to serve, improved upsell and cross sell and reducing churn.
Feedhenry is a leading provider of cloud-based Mobile Application Platform solutions that enable the development, deployment, integration and management of mobile apps.
Socowave is launching its UMTS-based active antenna with horizontal /vertical beamforming system at this year’s MWC.
