Company Wins Visa Europe Contract

One hundred new highly-skilled jobs will be created in Ireland over the next two years taxback.com - an Enterprise Ireland client company. The company, which provides international tax, finance and travel services for clients in more than 100 countries, will more than double its Irish workforce with recruitment of at least 100 highly-skilled staff in accounting, marketing and sales across its Dublin, Kilkenny and Cork offices.  The company will also officially open its new office building in Kilkenny.

Taxback.com had significant growth in 2008, despite the increasing challenges facing the Irish and global economies. The company had turnover of €60m reflecting a 15% increase in growth across the company with projected growth for 2009 of 15% - 20%.  Taxback.com has already more than doubled its workforce internationally in the last five years and now employs 600 staff globally - including continued job creation in Ireland where the company currently has 85 staff.

Welcoming the announcement Minister for Trade and Commerce Mr John McGuinness, TD said:

We are pleased to announce that we have been awarded the tender to provide VAT reclaim services for VISA Europe and have recently signed a partnership deal with UK shipping company Excess Baggage."
