Exporting to Thailand 23 January 2013
Thailand with over 66m people is the 20th largest country in the world by population. As a country Thailand’s main trading partners are the EU, US, Japan and China. Machinery and parts, electronic integrated circuits, chemicals, crude oil and fuels are among Thailand's principal imports. Irish companies in the dairy, engineering, telecoms and electronics industries have already grown export business with Thailand over the past years. With GDP growth predictions to average 5.3% a year in 2014-17 the market offers further export potential for Irish companies.
On January 23, Enterprise Ireland will host an event in Dublin on “Doing Business in Thailand”. This event is targeted at current and potential exporters to Thailand. A series of speakers who will cover topics as follows:

- The Irish experience in Thailand - EPS Global
- Opportunities for Irish companies - Gael Thailand
along with updates on Enterprise Ireland supports for client companies wishing to export to Thailand. There is also the opportunity to meet with some of our speakers on a 1:1 basis after the main event. Further details will be provided early in Jan.
