Geoff Meagher was Group Finance Director of Glanbia plc from 1992 to 2005 when in addition to that role he took on responsibilities of Deputy Group Managing Director until his retirement in 2009. His experience covers managing significant business operations, acquisitions and disposals, investment appraisal, banking arrangements /negotiations, I.T. and shared services and general management. He worked in various roles in the Glanbia Group commencing in 1975 where he gained broad commercial experience.
A Certified Public Accountant, he completed his accountancy training with Pricewaterhouse Coopers (PwC) in Kilkenny. Currently he is a self employed consultant providing commercial and financial advice to mainly medium sized businesses.
