Technology Opportunities in Canada

Companies planning on accessing the North American market now have a new channel through an agreement recently signed between Enterprise Ireland and IRAP (Industrial Research Assistance Programme— Canada). Under the agreement, both organisations will assist companies to:

  • Find a Canadian partner as a gateway to the North American market
  • Find a Canadian technology or product that might be licensed for the European market.
In Ireland the partnership is operated by TechSearch.Our staff can prepare a profile of an Irish company’s requirements which is then passed to the IRAP network in Canada. read more »

:: EI partners with Chambers Ireland for licensing training

An agreement between Enterprise Ireland and Chambers Ireland has resulted in our Technology Acquisition and Licensing course being available countrywide through the Chambers Ireland network. Launching the course "Grow your company IQ", Mr Eoin O’Driscoll author of the Enterprise Strategy Group report: Ahead of the Curve, said "In a world of commoditisation of goods and services, Irish companies need to become 'price makers', providing superior products with significant added value."
