Programs
Devtec, in association with Marotta was responsible for the design, development and qualification of the Cold Gas Thruster Module for the Tethered Satellite System reflight in February 1996, on board the STS75 shuttle mission. Since 1988 and to the present day, Devtec have been responsible for the design, development and manufacture of mission critical engine supports for the Vulcain engine (Ariane 5 first stage propulsion engine - both the Vulcain 1 and Vulcain 2 versions). Based on this experience, Devtec were awarded the contract for the development and supply of the Vinci Engine supports. This engine is the 2nd stage (ESC-B) engine for Ariane and is due for qualification in 2006. In 2002, Devtec won the contract for the supply of solenoid valves which control GOX and GH2 on the Ariane 5 Vinci engine.
