Duolog is an intellectual property development and design services house providing solutions to developers of next generation communications equipment. We have developed solutions and built up distinctive competence in 802.11 WLAN Platforms, Access Points, Home Gateways and Multimedia Platforms. We are currently developing a platform which links Satellite and WLAN systems:
WLAN Hardware Platform
Complete 802.11a/b/g baseband MAC and radio in intellectual property form for incorporation into an ASIC. Additional functions including 802.11e (Quality of Service), 802.11i Security and 802.11h (Spectrum and Power Management) are easily added.
Access Point or Service Gateway
Access Point software to link Satellite, DSL, Ethernet etc to WLAN 802.11. Functions such as 802.1x Authentication and 802.11f roaming are easily added. System also includes an (Open Services Gateway) OSGi platform with functions such as Usage Management, HTTP Proxy, Web Cache, Gateway Web Management Agent, Bandwidth Manager and Usage Metering. These greatly enhance satellite internet access.
Mobile Multimedia Platforms
Reference Mobile Multimedia Platforms based around the Texas Instruments OMAP platform are also available. These platforms support voice and video telephony with audio and video streaming. Computationally intensive functions are run on a DSP to increase battery life.
