Introduction

Enterprise Ireland is holding the 5th “MedinIreland” event on Tuesday 20th October in the Croke Park Conference Centre, Dublin.

This high-profile bi-annual event is the national showcase for the entire spectrum of the Irish indigenous Medical Technologies Sector – finished medical devices, medical devices sub-supply, precision engineered components, diagnostics, healthcare I.T., healthcare providers, clinicians and research & development professionals from the University system.

The conference will commence with speaking and panel discussion; including a key note speaker as well as Christopher Coburn, Executive Director, Cleveland Clinic.  The theme for the discussion is “How clinical know-how and engineering excellence can evolve into a dynamic medical technologies company”.

This is an opportunity to network with up to 200 International colleagues and peers from the medical technologies industry.

To facilitate and ensure the best use of time for your visit to Ireland, Enterprise Ireland will:

• schedule meetings on behalf of international guests with identified Irish exhibitors.
• cover the flight and accommodation costs.
• in co-operation with participating exhibitors; organise transport for international buyers that wish to undertake site visits on the days following Med in Ireland 2009.
