Now more than ever, Irish companies need results-driven interventions to focus them on building strong export-based businesses and to enable them to chart their pathway out of the turbulent international trading environment.
Enterprise Ireland has developed a series of workshops aimed at rapidly embedding the proven tools of good international selling practice into the sales teams of Irish companies across all industry sectors.
The 'Excel at Export Selling' Workshop Series has been designed in close consultation with our client companies, their development advisers and our international market advisory team. The learning objectives reflect closely a set of consistent messages coming via feedback from our clients' customers and target customers in the marketplace.
To truly make an impact on international markets, all Irish companies need to embark on a renewed drive to invest time and energy in rigorous pursuit of excellence in the fundamentals of export selling.
A central objective of these workshops is that they must impact quickly on the success levels of 'mature exporters' - those Irish companies already actively selling into export markets but in need of a new impetus to their selling approach.
The workshops will equip early stage exporters with the tools and techniques required to secure international sales.
The format will be a 1 to 2 day workshop on a core selling topic - a short, sharp, focused session that can deliver immediate value to participant companies.
Crucially, one-to-one follow up support will be a standard element of the series and will be provided to ensure that the tools and techniques are put into practice.
