30.01.12 New €1m energy research projects as part of government-supported centre – Ministers Rabbitte, Bruton |
 | The Minister for Communications, Energy and Natural Resources, Pat Rabbitte T.D., and the Minister for Jobs, Enterprise and Innovation, Richard Bruton T.D., today announced the approval of the first two projects as part of the government-supported International Energy Research Centre. 25.01.12 Betapond, Ireland’s only Facebook Preferred App Developer Raises €1.15m in VC |
 | Betapond, Ireland’s only preferred developer of Facebook apps has raised €1.15m in venture capital funding. The company will use the funds to accelerate into new markets and expand its technology platform. The syndicated funding has been provided by the Bank of Ireland Start-up and Emerging Sectors Equity Fund, managed by Delta Partners, Irrus Investments, and Enterprise Ireland. 24.01.12 New Irish Wind Farm Vessel Takes to the Seas |
 | Arklow Marine Services today officially launched its first vessel designed and built specifically for servicing offshore wind farms in the U.K. The new 20 metre aluminium catamaran cost £1.7m and created 10 new jobs during the build and fit out. The development of the innovative vessel was part-financed by Enterprise Ireland’s R&D Fund. 16.01.12 Minister Bruton announces 45 new jobs in OpenJaw Technologies |

 | The Minister for Jobs, Enterprise and Innovation Richard Bruton TD today [Monday 16th January, 2012] announced that Sysnet Global Solutions, the Dublin information security and services company, is to invest €1.34m in a major research and development programme, supported by Government through Enterprise Ireland.
