Market Study Visit - African healthcare sector, centred round Africa Health Trade Fair, Johannesburg, 5-7 May '15.

This event will focus on the European semiconductor industry. The half-day conference will provide insights on the current state of play in European semiconductor organisations; including emerging opportunities, influential trends and common challenges. Senior Executives from the industry will present and lead panel discussions on the future of the industry. The objectives of the event are to facilitate greater business links between Irish suppliers and European Semiconductor companies, and to promote Irish capability in this industry to a European audience. Senior Executives and Buyers will be invited to Ireland from semiconductor companies in Germany, Austria, France, the UK, Switzerland and Benelux.

Whether your business is experienced or new to tendering and is seeking to improve its chances of winning public and private sector contracts, Enterprise Ireland is hosting a series of Tendering Best-Practice Workshops in Edinburgh. The Aim is to: (i) Help you better understand what major buyers are looking for in a supplier through 'how to tender' workshops, 'bid management' events and ‘writing commercially successful bids’. (ii) Help you find other small and medium-sized businesses to work with to bid for larger contracts. (iii) Provide you with information on potential contracts and business opportunities, and offer support and advice if you’re considering bidding for them. (iv) Explain how the public sector buying system works. (v) Help you spot the areas where there is a shortage of suppliers of products and services.

This Event is designed as a Master Class for potential new exporters on how to internationalise their business from an Irish base. You will have the opportunity to hear first-hand from an Irish company sharing their experience and business lessons learned as they successfully made the transition from selling domestically to exporting to world markets. This event also offers an opportunity to learn about the range of supports available from Enterprise Ireland for companies looking to Internationalise their business. The Local Enterprise Office (LEO) will outline supports available to drive the export agenda for local business.

Enterprise Ireland in partnership with the Institutes of Technology has established a nationwide network of 12 Technology Gateways (www.technologgateway.ie ) which deliver technology solutions for Irish industry close to their market needs. The Gateways have a proven track record of working with industry and since 2008 along with their predecessors the AREs have completed >1,200 innovation based industry projects with over 600 Irish based companies. This showcase event is an opportunity for companies to network with the 12 Technology Gateways and discover how the Technology Gateways can help your company on its innovation journey. There will be an opportunity to view technical demonstrations form each Gateway as well testimonials from industry on how their collaborative industry projects with the Gateways helped their company. Enterprise Ireland staff can to explain what Innovation Supports you can avail of to assist in the development of a high impact collaborative project.

CIETT is the International Confederation of private employment agencies. CIETTs preeminent World Employment conference will be held in Rome in May 2015. The conference, which is organized by CIETT in collaboration with Assolavoro, the Italian Association of Recruitment agencies, explores market trends, challenges and developments both at a local and an international level.
