Workshop focusing on Data Centre developments in Scandinavia hosted by Enterprise Ireland Stockholm, with the participation of Facebook Sweden, Digital Realty and The Uptime Institute. The event is an opportunity for professionals that design, build and operate data centres to network with peers, and to learn about new technology trends, energy-efficient solutions and why Scandinavia is becoming popular as a location for large scale data centre operations.

It is 10 years since 8 countries in Central Europe (CE) joined the EU, and there are now 11 countries from CE in the EU. Four countries have joined the Euro. All have raising incomes and purchasing power, and have direct flights from Ireland. While Irish exports to these 11 countries are €4bn – this is still a largely untapped opportunity for Irish companies. This event will give EI clients the chance to explore export opportunities in CE through the medium of expert speakers and practitioners, and will feature 4 sectoral break-out sessions covering Software Development and Sales, Supplying the Manufacturing Sector, Food & Beverages and Opportunities in Infrastructure (including Cleantech) with invited buyers. It will provide techniques in how to successfully implement change within your organisation exploring the process, tools and techniques to manage the people-side of change to achieve the required business outcome. The next workshop explores funding the plan.
