| eBusiness Law: a Practical Guide for Irish Companies
Introduction
In recent years, there has been an explosion in business transactions over the Internet. However, a significant number of businesses remain unaware of the full legal implications of doing business online, and of allowing their employees access to electronic media.
This guide has been compiled by Enterprise Ireland to give Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (SMEs) a broad overview of the legal issues that arise in conducting business electronically. This guide is a summary of certain legislation covering eBusiness for Irish-based companies that was in force at December 2005. It is subject to a disclaimer.
