Anthony Nicholas Group

Website www.fieldsofdublin.ie

Since the development of the Internet , many Jewelers have discovered the benefits of presenting their products online. Retail and Business customers alike find the ability to view, price and source pieces of Jewellery in this way convenient and useful. Against this backdrop the Anthony Nicholas Group set about establishing themselves
online. To do this successfully, a full back-office systems replacement was required and two different web sites had to be developed and supported - one for Irish retail customers and the other for business customers who are primarily based in America and Ireland.

The Irish Retail site www.fieldsofdublin.ie was developed as a marketing tool to develop and promote the Fields of Dublin branch network. This was the first stage of the project to be launched and the level of interest in the site has exceeded their expectations.

The main part of the strategy was the development of web-based technology for interacting with customers, supported by the accounting systems replacement. The in-house project team was supported by a carefully selected software supplier and a web design company. This stage of the project is still on going although clear benefits have already been identified from the new ways of working that the project has established.

The project came at a very important time for the Anthony Nicholas Group and has been fundamental to placing them in a position to meet their overall business strategy.
