Enterprise Ireland has two categories of funding specifically targeted at companies starting their own business.
Funding for Exploring New Opportunities is preliminary funding to explore new ideas/new markets. It includes supports towards feasibility studies, recruitment of a key person, participation in trade fairs, market research and consultancy.
Funding for High Potential Start Up Companies is to fund activities outlined in a high potential start up company’s business plan, such as investment in capital equipment, job creation, training and R&D.
