Our Informatics Research and Commercialisation Group aims to capitalise on the commercialisation potential of Irish third level Informatics research resources to the benefit of Irish based industry.

Our objective is to act as a strong partner for the Informatics sector in helping it to:

• Build a global technology view focused on Irish Informatics areas of strength
• Track future technology trends and their impact on research, products and technical services
• Stimulate appropriate research actions
• Enhance the level of interaction between companies and third level research institutions in Informatics

We work with Informatics companies by:

• Acting as an agent for them in advancing their agenda with Irish Third level Informatics researchers
• Diving the usage of the outcomes of Third Level Informatics research in particular by Irish based industry

The Group works with third level Informatics researchers by:

• Providing a strong, effective, centralised research commercialisation resource for them
• Acting as an agent for them when they are seeking to commercialise their research
• Assisting them in achieving the ambition to spin their research out into new start up companies
