This initiative is aimed at encouraging companies to invest in the development of existing and new human resources though the training of managers, key employees and staff. It is designed to contribute to significant and measurable improvements in a Company's productivity or changes in output to meet defined market requirements.
There are two categories of training:
- Management Development
This is defined as training and development activities which build the management capability in the company and therefore contribute to the company's export growth. This applies to the CEO/owner manager and persons in the company who have responsibility for the management of a resource within the company - (i.e. people/functions/markets - as identified by job specification or organisation chart).
- Other Training
This is defined as all other types of training and development activities which contribute to the upskilling of other employees within the company.
