International Commercial Terms

There are 13 Incoterms, or 'international commercial terms', included in this list. Devised and published by the International Chamber of Commerce, they provide a set of international rules for the interpretation of the most commonly used trade terms. The uncertainty of different interpretations of such terms in different countries can be avoided or at least reduced. Each is marked, [Incoterm 2000] in this A to Z. For a full legal understanding of an Incoterm, you must refer to the Incoterm manual.
