The objective of our recruitment and selection policies is the appointment of the most suitable person for a given post, based on a candidate's skills. A fundamental part of the process is to ensure that standards of fairness and equality are maintained.
Our policy is to seek to appoint staff from within the agency in the first instance and to encourage staff in learning and development. Under agreed procedures, vacancies are normally advertised within Enterprise Ireland, IDA Ireland and Forfás. Where no suitable candidate is identified within the agencies, the vacancy is filled by external recruitment.
